Dear Friends and Family,
As you probably realize by now, Bibi and Ben live a somewhat different lifestyle, and we do not expect getting married to change that, at least not for the immediate future. Everything we own is strapped to our bikes in one way or another, and weight will become even more of an issue than it already is as we move into the more sparesly populated areas of Peru, Bolivia, and down the road of Africa.
We are minimalists, at this point in our lives, and have no use for toasters, silver platters, persian rugs, and essentially anything else that weighs more than 6 ozs.
No one should feel obliged to give us a gift of any kind, but if you do feel compelled to give something to us, we would prefer it to be in the form of cash. Bibi and I are gratually saving up money to buy land, potentially a home, and someday settle down, but that day is still in the distant future. We are not ready to forego these wonderful years of knowledge and travel and I love my job, my company and the lifestyle it provides me too much to change just yet.
